Well-Loved CT Eatery Announces Upcoming Closure: 'We Will Now Turn Page' A beloved Connecticut restaurant has announced that it will soon be closing permanently. J Restaurant | Bar, located in Hartford at 297 Washington St., announced in a social media post on Monday, Jan. 29 that it has started planning its upcoming closure.  According to the owner, the property was sold to LAZ Parking as of Thursday, Jan. 25.
