Protesters turned out in Fairfield County and throughout the nation on Saturday to demand that the Trump administration reunite the divided families created by its “zero tolerance” immigration policy. Fairfield County Man In Need Of Kidney Dialysis Given Stay Of Deportation
A Stamford man who was on the verge of being deported to Hondorus despite having serious kidney disease has received a six-month reprieve from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. “While this is welcome news, a six-month stay is not enough, especially considering that the hospital cannot perform the kidney transplant necessary to keep Mr. Santos alive without at least a year of post-op recovery time," Malloy said.
