Two Rescued After Boat Overturns On Long Island Sound Two boaters were rescued when their boat capsized in the Long Island Sound off New Rochelle. Members of the New Rochelle Police Department Marine Unit and paramedics were dispatched to the area of Huckleberry Island between Davids Island, shortly after noon on Wednesday where there was a report of a capsized vessel. Two boaters were rescued by police and transported back to shore without injuries. The condition of the boat was not immediately available.
