Truck From Newtown Business ID'd In Fatal Hit-Run Crash State Police are looking at a Fairfield County business in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a Bridgeport woman on Route 8. Maria Mendoza-Robles, 54, was struck around 8 p.m. Thursday while attempting to walk across busy southbound Route 8 near Exit 5 in Bridgeport, said Connecticut State Police.
