Talvin Hinton, of Bridgeport, has been sentenced to five years in prison and four years post-release monitoring following his plea, said DEA Bridgeport. The incident took place on Sept. 23, 2017, when the Stratford Police Department responded to the report of a fatal overdose, the DEA said. Darryck Norris, 25, of Bridgeport, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to possession of narcotics and other drug offenses following his arrest in February last year. Greenwich Police received a call in regards to an unresponsive person at a Cos Cob residence on October 27, 2017. Police arrived and found a deceased male in one of the home’s bathrooms. Initial on-scene investigations led to the belief that the death was caused by a narcotics overdose. Man Nearly Dies Of Heroin Overdose Inside Library Bathroom In Stamford An employee found a 52-year-old man unconscious and nearly dead from a heroin overdose in a second-floor bathroom at Ferguson Library in Stamford, according to police. The man was found around 1 p.m. Thursday at the library at 1 Public Library Plaza when the staff member entered the bathroom, said Stamford Police Sgt. Robert Shawinsky.
