A Connecticut man has been charged with threatening after allegedly pointing a gun at another driver while a 9-year-old relative was in his pickup truck during a road rage incident. Litchfield County resident Floyd Morey, age 43, of Plymouth, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 10, for the June incident in Plymouth. Stamford Man Charged With Reckless Endangerment After Pistol Stolen From Car, Police Say
A 29-year-old man who reported that his handgun had been stolen out of his unlocked vehicle has been charged with reckless endangerment in Fairfield County. Tyler Burchard, of Stamford, reported that his 9mm Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol was stolen last week out of the unlocked center console of his car, which parked in the driveway of his home, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin said. Burchard was also charged with the unsafe storage of a firearm in a vehicle, Conklin said. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond. The New York Police Department is facing a lawsuit for allegedly violating public record laws by failing to disclose information about President Donald Trump’s gun permit application. The department is refusing to disclose information about handgun licenses held by the Commander-in-Chief and two of his sons, citing privacy and safety concerns, according to a lawsuit filed this week.
