According to Booth, a 2005 Dodge Durango, being driven by a 35-year-old Stamford resident, was traveling southbound on Grove Street when it struck the person. The fire started around 3 p.m., Monday, March 2, at 180 Board St., at the Parc Grove West complex in Stamford, police said. The department said that Broad Street is closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area of Greyrock, Franklin and Grove Street until further notice. At approximately 3:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, the 911 dispatch center received a call reporting smoke coming from the roof of the building near Forest and Grove streets, the Stamford Fire Department said.
