Stop & Shop Closing Greenwich Store Stop & Shop in the Glenville section of Greenwich has decided to close due to the number of shrinking customers and declining revenue. "Stop & Shop has made the difficult decision not to renew the lease for our store located at 11 Glen Ridge Rd, in Glenville, Connecticut, as the store was not meeting financial expectations," said Daniel Wolk, of Stop & Shop. Man Extradited From Westchester To Fairfield County On Burglary Charge A man wanted for burglary charges was extradited from Westchester to Fairfield County, police say. Officers with the Greenwich Police Department Warrants and Extraditions Unit responded to the Westchester County Correctional Facility (10 Woods Road in Valhalla) to extradite Michael Taylor, 35, of the Bronx, to the state of Connecticut on Tuesday, June 11. Greenwich Police say they held an active warrant stemming from a burglary in Glenville on August 21, 2018.
