Eatery Closes On Short Notice, Now Operating Food Truck In Bridgeport
A popular eatery known for its greens, mac-and-cheese, shrimp, and fried chicken has suddenly closed in Fairfield County.
Everybody Eatz, located at 3927 Main Street in Bridgeport, was a restaurant whose slogan was "Where gourmet meets soul food."
It announced on Facebook and Instagram that it had closed and would launch a food truck and catering beginning in June.
"No more rent or landlords," the Tuesday, May 28 announcement said. "This year (is) about branding & ownership & next year about expanding."

An eatery known for serving up plenty of delicious fried food is being recognized as having the best french fries in Connecticut, according to a new report.
Fairfield County's Fryborg, located in Trumbull at 10 Broadway, was named as having the best fries in the entire Nutmeg State, according to a report by lovefood.com.
The eatery, which was started in 2011 when its owner Jon "finally decided to not suck at life," according to its website, specializes in hand-cut fries, burgers, sandwiches, and even donuts.
