CT Police Officer Seriously Injured By ATV Driver, Police Say
A Connecticut police officer's leg was seriously injured after an ATV allegedly hit him. The incident occurred in New Haven on Sunday, April 7, in the area of Ferry and Peck Streets. According to Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police, the officer was struck and his leg seriously injured while attempting to stop a group of ATVs illegally riding through the city. A Connecticut Door Dash driver is recovering after being shot during an alleged carjacking after delivering food. The incident took place in New Haven around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16 in the area of Ferry Street and Pierpont Street. According to Capt. New Haven Man Sentenced For Robbery
A Connecticut man is set to spend nearly a decade behind bars for robbery and weapon charges dating back to an incident more than two years ago. New Haven resident Shaquille Richardson, 25, has been sentenced to 117 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to one count of Hobbs Act Robbery and one count of carrying a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence earlier this year.
