The Danbury Fire Department A shift companies were dispatched to the area of 167 Long Ridge Road at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday for a report of a motor vehicle accident with an explosion. Units arrived to find a car totally engulfed in flames. There were two occupants on the scene with burns, and they were taken to the Western Connecticut Health Network ER for treatment.
