Kenneth McGahren, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1. An architect, artist, and lover of nature, his last moments were spent in the tranquil, wooded setting of the home he built in 2017 in Pound Ridge.
Ken was born on September 27, 1939 in Bayonne, NJ, youngest of 4 brothers born to Eugene and Cecilia (Paulson) McGahren. He graduated from Pratt Institute in New York City in 1968 and was registered to practice in New York and Connecticut. CT Now Investigating Cases Of Mysterious Covid-related Illness In Children
Health officials are sharing new information about the pediatric inflammatory illness linked to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with 14 states now investigating cases.
New York State has the most cases with 102.
Other states now investigating cases are Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington. So far, those states have not yet released details on the cases.
The illness displays symptoms similar to those of Kawasaki disease or toxic shock-like syndrome.

Shivaun Mahony of Westport being remembered as a traveler and adventurer died in July of breast cancer at age 64.
A mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, Mahony spent most of her life in Westport, California and New York City, according to the obituary.
