Mercedes Forcibly Stolen From Sleeping Fairfield County Woman Located, Police Say
A gray 2018 Mercedes-Benz SUV stolen from a woman sleeping inside has been recovered in Fairfield County.
The sleeping woman was dragged from the vehicle by two men wearing masks around 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, in the area of East Putnam Avenue and Milbank Avenue, said Greenwich PD Captain Mark E. Zuccerella.
The woman woke to the sight of two men, wearing all black, removing her from the running vehicle, according to Zuccerella.

Man Arrested Twice For Frightening Drivers, Neighbors In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was arrested twice in two days for allegedly driving aggressively and for harassing neighbors.
Earnest Michael Drupals, 48, of Riverside, was first arrested around 9:25 a.m., Saturday, March 7, after being stopped by Greenwich Police, said Lt. Louis Pannone.
When stopped, Drupals' was allegedly seen driving a white Jeep Gladditator a high rate of speed eastbound on East Putnam Avenue, Pannone said.
The vehicle's engine could be heard loudly revving and he was seen passing other vehicles, tailgating, and making a lane change without an indicator, police said.

Three men were arrested after allegedly attempting to take money out of a bank account using false identification.
The three men, Jason Howard, 39; Daquan Davis, 24, both of New York City, and Sherman Alston, 23, of Clifton, New Jersey, were arrested Saturday, June 1, following an investigation into an alleged bank-fraud attempt at a branch bank on Greenwich Avenue, said the Greenwich Police.

Man Under Influence Attempts To Switch Seats, Greenwich Police Say
A man who was trying to pull off a switch-a-roo so he wouldn't be caught driving under the influence has been charged, according to Greenwich Police.
Scott Hyman, 26, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 4 a.m. Monday after officers watched as he strayed from his lane, nearly hitting the curbs on East Putnam Avenue, the arrest report said.
After pulling the vehicle over in a parking lot, the officer watched as Hyman switched seats with the passenger, the report said.
