Assault: CT Group Home Staff Member Punches Man In Face, Police Say
A Connecticut man was charged with alleged assault after punching an intellectually disabled person in the face.
The incident took place in New Haven County on Friday, April 28, in Naugatuck.
Victor Ventura, age 29, of Waterbury, was arrested after Naugatuck Police responded to a group home for a report of a fight in progress, said the Naugatuck Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, an investigation and witness statements determined that Ventura, a staff member, had punched an intellectually disabled adult in the face, police said.

A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly beating a woman and then fighting with police who attempted to arrest him.
The incident took place in Greenwich on Sunday, Dec. 11 on Ridge Street.
Greenwich police responded to an apartment on the western side of town where a concerned resident had called the police to report a violent attack in an upstairs unit, said Lt. Patrick Smyth, of the Greenwich Police.

Fairfield County Man Charged After Incident That Injured 2, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged in a domestic violence incident that injured two.
It happened in Easton around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at a home on Everett Road.
According to Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a fight had occurred between a man and woman, Doyle said.
The man, identified as Nicholas Testani, age 30, of Bridgeport, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of two puncture wounds, police said.
