Menorah Lightings Set For Throughout Fairfield County  Those interested in attending a menorah-lighting ceremony to celebrate the Jewish festival of Chanukah have a variety of locales to choose from in Fairfield County. The Mishkan Israel Day Camp is holding lighting ceremonies across five communities across Fairfield County between Monday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 9. Stamford Greek Festival Marks 41st Year Stamford's 41st annual Greek Festival has begun and continues all weekend long. The popular Ethos festivities feature Greek food, music and spirit.  Admission is free and there are plenty of amusement rides, games and Greek dancing.  For more details about food, ride and entertainment sponsors, click here.  The festival lasts until 11 p.m. on Friday June 1. It resumes at noon on Saturday June 2 as well as Sunday June 3, concluding at 11 p.m. each evening rain or shine.
