Esty’s Second Bipartisan Anti-Human Trafficking Bill Signed Into Law WASHINGTON, D.C. – The second of U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Esty’s two bipartisan bills to combat human trafficking in America was signed into law Monday, marking the successful conclusion of an effort to establish tough new penalties for truckers and create a human trafficking prevention coordinator position at the U.S. Department of Transportation.  Esty (D-5th District) introduced both bills with U.S. Rep.
