Ex-Fairfield County Doctor Sentenced To Prison For Her Role In $2.5M Medicaid Fraud Schemes A doctor in Fairfield County will spend time behind bars after admitting to her role in a pair of schemes to defraud Medicaid out of more than $2.5 million. Juliet Jacob, formerly of Bridgeport, was sentenced to one year and a day in prison after she pleaded guilty in Bridgeport District Court to one count of health care fraud stemming from a scheme that lasted several years last year.
