Honda Recalling Nearly 1.7M Vehicles For Steering Problems, Crash Concerns Honda is recalling nearly two million vehicles due to steering issues that could potentially lead to crashes.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that 1,693,199 vehicles are subject to a nationwide recall due to a manufacturing issue that could make it more difficult to steer the vehicles. Stamford Man Crushed By Food Truck Dies A 31-year-old Fairfield County man who was crushed while working on a food truck has died from his injuries. The incident occurred in Stamford around 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, on West Avenue. According to Assistant Stamford Police Chief Richard Conklin, officers found  Jairon Milian-Milian of Stamford trapped underneath a Chevrolet food truck. Milian-Milian had just dropped the transmission on the truck, which allowed it to roll forward, crushing him, Conklin said. Gas Prices To Rise This Spring, AAA Says There is no relief in sight for drivers’ wallets at the pump, as gas prices continue to rise and should continue to do so well into the spring, according to AAA. For weeks, gas prices have slowly, but surely, continued to creep upward, to a national average of $2.52 per gallon, up eight cents from a month ago and nearly 25 cents a year ago, when the average was $2.30 per gallon.
