IDs Released Of 4 Killed, Including 2 From Fairfield County, In Wrong-Way Crash On I-95 The identities have been released of two men and two women all in their 20s who were killed in a horrific wrong-way crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in New Haven County on the southbound side when a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in West Haven, Connecticut State Police said.  The pickup truck then crashed into a Nissan Altima while in the left lane.  Following impact, the Silverado entered the center lane and collided with a southbound Nissan Sentra.&…

Head-On Crash: CT Woman Killed, Second Driver Injured A 39-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after allegedly crossing the double-yellow line and hitting a pickup truck head-on.  The crash took place in Tolland County around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, on Route 32 in Mansfield. Connecticut State Police said Vanessa Marie Rivero, of the town of Willington in Tolland County, was driving north on Route 32 near Mansfield City Road in a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta when she crossed the double-yellow line and hit a 2012 GMC Sierra head-on, before hitting a guardrail. Two Hospitalized After Serious Danbury Crash Two were hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a head-on collision near a busy Fairfield County intersection, police said. Police received a call at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, where there was a report of a major crash involving an Audi A4 and Suzuki sedan in Danbury in the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street. Danbury Police said that the driver of a 2014 Audi A4 was traveling north on Padanaram Road when a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi was traveling south when they collided.
