Norwalk Deputy Fire Marshal Dies At Age 47 A much beloved Fairfield County fire marshall has died after a short battle with cancer. Norwalk Deputy Fire Marshal Luca Feola was 47. He died on Thursday, Nov. 2, said Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling. Feola served in the Norwalk Fire Department for nearly 20 years. 'Our Hearts Are Heavy': CT Officer Dies Of Brain Cancer, Police Department Announces A Connecticut police department is mourning the loss of an officer who died of brain cancer. Officer Matt Silvestrini died peacefully while surrounded by family at his home on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 3, the Middletown Police Department in Middlesex County announced.
