Bridgeport Teen On Life Support Following Shooting A 19-year-old man shot in the head has been put on life support, according to the Bridgeport Police. The shooting took place around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the area of Palisade Avenue and Birdsey Street, police said.  Responding officers found the teen on Price Street, said police spokesman Av Harris. An officer in the area at the time said he heard about eight shots. Initially, the shooting had been reported as the city's second homicide of the year.
