Cocaine Discovered In Stamford Variety Store Search A Stamford man was nabbed by members of the Stamford Police Department's narc squad while on his way to making a drug deal, according to Stamford Police. Richard Salinas-Gonzalez, 21, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after members of the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad received the information he was on his way to make a drug deal, said Capt. Richard Conklin. Officers with the unit spotted him as a passenger in a car that pulled into a variety shop near Atlantic and Bell streets, Conklin said.
