A Connecticut man has been sentenced to more than nine years in prison for his role in the attempted robbery of a restaurant in 2015, during which an employee was shot.
Tythrone Ford, age 28, of New Haven, was sentenced on Tuesday, March 15 for the April 2015 incident, said Leonard C Boyle, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Man Attempted To Rob Woman Behind Fairfield County Restaurant, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a woman as she was walking in a parking lot behind a restaurant.
Joseph Riley, age 40, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Sunday, May 30, by police following the reported attempted robbery in Darien, said Sgt. James Palmieri of the Darien Police Department.
According to Palmieri, the woman told officers that a Black man wearing a gray sweatshirt approached her and demanded money as she walking behind the Bodega Taco Bar.

Suspect Found After Fleeing Scene Of Danbury Robbery
A Danbury man was quickly nabbed after an attempted robbery Monday of a travel agency on Elm Street, according to Danbury police.
Daniel Christopher, 39, of 9 Foster St. was arrested for criminal attempt to commit robbery, threatening, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, following the attempted robbery at Valentin Travel, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
