Newtown Bank Employee Cited For Writing "Help" On Bank Window As Prank NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A Newtown bank employee who wrote "HELP" on a fogged-up window was cited for creating a public disturbance Friday morning after someone saw it and called 911. At 8:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank at 22 Church Hill Road in Newtown on a report of suspicious activity. Someone had gone to the entrance of the bank and seen that the word "HELP" had been written on the fogged-up glass, police said. Fearing that somebody was in trouble, the person called 911.
