Boy, 12, Seriously Injured After Crashing Stolen Kia In Bridgeport, Police Say A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Fairfield County when it crashed into a pole is in serious condition. The collision took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the area of Railroad Avenue and Hancock Avenue. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, the 911 Center received several calls regarding a sport utility vehicle that had struck a pole. Callers were uncertain if any occupants were still in the SUV. 12-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle On Way To School In Fairfield County, Police Say A 12-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while on his way to school in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 8:17 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, at the intersection of South Avenue and Farm Road in New Canaan, said New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro. According to Ferraro, the boy, a 12-year-old boy, a student at Saxe Middle School, suffered minor injuries from the crash and was transported to Norwalk Hospital ER by NC EMS for treatment and further evaluation of his injuries.
