Newtown Faces Monroe In Annual 'First Selectman's Game'

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The third annual "First Selectman's Game" will pit Monroe against Newtown in a seventh and eighth grade basketball title game on Friday, March 18 at 7 p.m.

The two youth teams are local winners and looking to represent their towns.

The champions of Monroe Parks and Recreation and Newtown Youth Basketball will face off at Jockey Hollow Gym in Monroe, with a suggested admission of $1 and a canned good.
