Six Children Injured, Two Seriously, In Crash On I-84, State Police Say

Connecticut State Police are seeking information after eight people — including six children — were injured in a rollover crash on I-84 in Manchester.

The one-car crash occurred at about 6:20 p.m. Friday on I-84 eastbound at Exit 60, and troopers from Troop H in Hartford responded. 

The Chevy Trailblazer, which traveling east on I-84, crossed from the left side of the highway and over the Exit 60 off-ramp, where it lost control and rolled over, state police said. 

The Trailblazer came to a stop in the wood line off the right shoulder, police said. 

The two adults and six children — ages 4 months to 9 years — in the vehicle were transported to various hospitals, state police said. Two of the children were transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Center with serious injuries. 

EMS and Manchester Fire Department also responded to the crash.
