NEWTOWN, Conn. — The Newtown Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a blue Hyundai Elantra that was involved in an accident early Sunday and fled the scene, police said.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Walnut Tree Hill Road in the area of Patriot Ridge Road, police said in a Facebook post.
The car — which was from a model year sometime between 2011 and 2013 — was damaged on the front passenger side, police said.
The Newtown Police ask anyone who knows the owner of the car to get in contact with them at 203-426-5841.
