Newtown Officer Pays Respects While In Orlando

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A Newtown police officer was recently in Orlando and visited the Pulse nightclub to pay his respects -- and left a Newtown Police Department patch as a symbol of solidarity.

The officer then visited with officers of the Orlando Police Department.

"Newtown stands united with Orlando as they go through this most difficult time," the department noted in a Monday Facebook post.
