Bethel Chimney Fire Knocked Down In Minutes

BETHEL, Conn. -- Firefighters knocked down a chimney blaze in less than 15 minutes Tuesday night in Bethel.

A chimney fire extended into the exterior wood framing at a home on Redwood Drive.

The Stony Hill Fire Department was assisted by Bethel E6, Tanker 1 and Aerial Tower. Brookfield Fire Department also was on standby with an engine at the SHFD station.
