More Power Outages Strike Newtown

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — On a dreary Sunday afternoon, Eversource was reporting that a number of customers had lost power in Fairfield County.

update: These power outages have been repaired. 

As of 2 p.m., the following power outages were reported: 

  • Brookfield: 38 customers
  • Danbury: 39 customers
  • Newtown: 17 customers
  • Redding: 26 customers 
  • Westport: 10 customers

It was not clear when the outages would be repaired.
