Icy Storm Causes Power Outages Across Fairfield County

Updated at 5 p.m.: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource and United Illuminating said most of the power outages reported across Fairfield County on Tuesday had been repaired.

Only single-digit numbers of outages remained by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Updated at 9:45 a.m.: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource and United Illuminating were reporting a number of power outages across Fairfield County in the wake of a wintry storm that moved across Connecticut overnight.

As of 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, the following outages were reported:

Bethel: 37 customers
Danbury: 7 customer
Fairfield: 13 customers
Greenwich: 6 customers
Monroe: 72 customers
New Canaan: 4 customers
New Fairfield: 1 customer
Newtown: 1 customer
Norwalk: 65 customers
Redding: 34 customers
Ridgefield: 5 customers
Shelton: 1 customer
Weston: 11 customers
Westport: 1 customer
Wilton: 15 customers

Hundreds of outages were reported across the state. It was not clear when all repairs would be made.
