Eversource Reports Power Outages In Bethel, Newtown After Heavy Rain

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource was reporting power outages after heavy rains swept through Fairfield County early Sunday evening. 

Eversource is continuing to work to restore power across Connecticut on Friday afternoon. Tens of thousands were left in the dark after a powerful storm early Thursday.

  • Bethel: 118 
  • Brookfield: 35
  • Danbury: 88 
  • Newtown: 214 
  • Redding; 76 
  • Ridgefield: 213 

It was not clear when the outages would be restored.
