2-Car Crash Slows Traffic On I-84 Near Danbury, Bethel, Newtown, Brookfield

NEWTOWN, Conn. — A two-vehicle crash on I-84 westbound is blocking a lane of traffic and causing traffic jams Tuesday morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

update: The accident scene has been cleared, DOT said.

The crash is between Exits 10 and 9 on I-84 west and is blocking the left lane, DOT said. Traffic is backed up beyond Exit 10, DOT said.

The crash was reported at about 8 a.m., DOT said.
