Bethel's Sycamore Drive In Ranks Among DVlicious Family-Friendly Contenders

BETHEL, Conn. -- We get it. You like to eat. And you like to eat out. But dining with kids, especially young ones -- can sometimes get sticky -- in more ways than one. Kudos to the places that offer up pleasing menus for both adults and kids as well as surroundings that don’t feel like you’re dining at Mickey D’s.

Sycamore Drive-In, Bethel

Why It's Kid Worthy: Homemade root beer. Reasonable prices. And a 1950s memorabilia, starting with the gas pumps outside. The Sycamore has been in business since 1948 and still offers curb service. Kids and adults love the time warp ambiance that has become a Fairfield County institution. And, oh yeah, the burgers and fries are really good, though there are a host of other options to choose from.
