Events got underway with a veterans breakfast at the Joseph W. Tarrant Jr. American Legion Memorial Post 100, followed by a placing of wreaths at noon.
The parade kicked off at 2 p.m. with marchers heading down Greenwood Avenue to P.T. Barnum Square and left onto School Street. The parade ended in front of the Hurgin Municipal Center, which hosted the St. Mary School carnival. Click here for a photo gallery from the carnival.
