NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A lecture about the life of colonial New England women will be held at the C.H. Booth Library in Newtown on Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Velya Jancz-Urban, author of "Acquiescence," will discuss menstruation, sex and birth control, childbirth, sickness and medicine of the time.
