As the "Connecticut Writers Read and Talk About Writing" series continues, Heather Webb, Elizabeth Hilts, Sonya Huber and Sandra Rodriquez Barron will read from published works and works in progress. Huber is an assistant professor at Fairfield University, where she teaches creative nonfiction, publishing, editing and composition.
There will be time in between each reading for discussion and Q&A with the audience about the craft of writing. The reading series is curated by Newtown author Sophfronia Scott.
Refreshments will be served and books will be available for purchase.
The event will run from 2-4 p.m. in the Meeting Room. The library is located at 25 Main St., in Newtown. For more information about the library -- including other upcoming events -- check out its website here.
