Judge Wings, Chili at Newtown-Monroe Chamber Competition

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Local restaurants will compete for the title of the "Best Chili" or "Best Wings" in the area at the Chili Cook Off & Wing Fling on Thursday, Nov. 5.

In addition to the chicken wings and chili competition, there will be a Beer & Booze tasting.

The event, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Wateview, 215 Roosevelt Drive in Monroe. is being presented by the Monroe and Newtown Chambers of Commerce.

Live music will be provided by Goldrush.

In addition to the competition, there will be a Beer & Booze tasting.
