New Haven County resident Justin Walsh, age 46, of Southbury, was arrested in Newtown on Wednesday, May 10 for an incident that took place in Dec. 2022, said Det. Lt. Liam Seabrook, of the Newtown Police.
Walsh's arrest comes after "an exhaustive and tedious 5-month-long investigation," Seabrook said.
"Sexual Assault investigations are notoriously difficult cases to investigate," Seabrook said.
Seabrook added that anyone who may have been a victim of sexual assault should contact police as soon as possible at 203-426-5841.
Walsh was held on a $40,000 bond.
