The chamber and rotary celebrate the achievements of local companies that have consistently displayed excellence in serving their customers and supporting the Newtown community. Nominations were drawn by soliciting input and votes from the community. The companies with the most votes in each category are honored as Business of the Year.
“We’re thrilled to have been selected as New Business of the Year,” said Robert Schlump of Café Xpresso. “Our entire team has worked very hard over the year since we first opened and it’s very rewarding to have the community acknowledge their great effort.”
Café Xpresso offers quality dining with neighborhood charm. The menu presents an assortment of breakfast options and sandwiches, salads and pastries. The beverage selection includes artisan coffees, teas and fresh fruit smoothies. The cafe also provides a variety of catering services, ranging from office orders to private off-site events.
“We’re all about fresh,” is the motto of the café and the passion that drives Schlump.
The brainchild of Schlump and his wife, Marie, Café Xpresso celebrates culinary excellence, gracious service and inspired creativity.
