Wilton Woman Accused Of Cutting Jewish Federation Ribbons Off Trees

A Fairfield County woman was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly cutting down Jewish Federation blue ribbons at a town center.

Sally Fattah, age 50, of Wilton, was charged on Tuesday, Jan. 23 by Wilton Police.

According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police, Abdel was caught cutting blue ribbons off the trees at the Wilton Town Center put up by the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County.

The federation was permitted to hang the ribbons by the Wilton Board of Selectmen. 

Through an investigation, Fattah was identified and was charged with one count of criminal mischief. 

She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Feb. 2.
