Missing Teen Found Safe In Fairfield County
A missing Westchester teen who had been gone for more than a week has been found by police. Northern Westchester resident Kristan “John John” Lee, age 15, of Yorktown, went missing on the night of Thursday, Aug 4. After receiving the notice, Yorktown detectives immediately began an intensive investigation by checking social media, notifying neighboring cities and states as well as New York City and state and federal officials, said Chief Robert Noble of the Yorktown Police. Woman Accused Of Driving Stolen Van To Police Headquarters In Northern Westchester
A 74-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly driving a van reported stolen in Vermont to a police department in New York, in Northern Westchester County. The Yorktown Police Department reported that the Vermont resident has been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Police did not release the woman's name. Fairfield County Man, 27, Who Crashes Car Was Impaired By Drugs, Police Say
A Fairfield County man is facing multiple charges after being busted with cocaine following a crash on Old Yorktown Road when he was allegedly impaired, police said. Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Old Yorktown Road (Route 132), where there was a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries and a vehicle on its side.
