Fatal Crash: 46-Year-Old CT Woman Found In Wooded Area In Jeep By Resident A 46-year-old Connecticut woman was found dead inside an overturned Jeep by a resident walking in the area. New Haven County resident Jessica Ciola, of Bethany, was found around 11:20 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25 in the area of North Pease Road in Woodbridge. Ciola was discovered by a resident in the Jeep which was off the road, severely damaged, and partially overturned, said the Woodbridge Police. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel. Rickey Trayham, age 28, of New Haven, was found guilty on Wednesday, May 31 by a jury in New Haven of the murder of Rondell Atkinson on Monday, June 7, 2021, said New Haven State’s Attorney John Doyle, Jr.  According to evidence introduced at trial, Traynham shot Atkinson, age 33, of West Haven, during a robbery at the Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge.  Atkinson’s body was found the next day by a jogger. The Woodbridge Police Department announced on Monday, Nov. 28, that it is investigating the untimely death of the woman, whose identity was not released. On Sunday, Nov. 27, the woman was found deceased at a site where she had been residing in Woodbridge in a wooded area bordered by Litchfield Turnpike (Route 69), Pond Lily Avenue, and the Wilbur Cross Parkway, police reported.
