Duo Wanted For Stealing Norwalk Woman's Purse After Changing Tire Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying two men wanted for stealing a woman's purse after helping her change a tire. The incident took place in Norwalk around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 at the Exxon gas station located at 452 Westport Ave.  The men, described as being Hispanic in their late 20s, assisted a woman changed her tire and took her purse, and fled in a white 4-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, said Lt. Jose “Calasanz” Martinez, of Norwalk, surrendered on an active warrant for fourth-degree sexual assault on Friday, Aug. 16. Man Chokes, Threatens To Shoot, Sexually Assaults Victim At Norwalk Motel, Police Say A New York man was arrested after he allegedly choked and threatened to shoot another man he had spent the night with at a Norwalk hotel. Norwalk Police learned of the incident when a man called 911around noon on Wednesday, March 27, from the Red Carpet Inn at 469 Westport Ave., saying that another man had choked him, left, and may have a gun and that he was coming back to the room, said Norwalk Police Sgt.
