Sally's Apizza will open its restaurant at the Westfarms mall on Thursday, Feb. 13. Located on the ground level of Jordan's Furniture, the pizzeria will feature an 80-foot-wide, high-resolution LED screen and an expanded menu. According to the Disney Store website, the following stores are closing in Connecticut: Danbury: Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Ave. Farmington: Westfarms Mall, 500 Westfarms Mall After the next round of closings, only 25 stores will remain in operation. Disney last March announced at least 60 of its North America stores to focus on online sales.

CT Location Among 28 Macy's Store Closures Announced A Macy’s location in Connecticut is among more than two dozen being closed down nationwide, continuing the trend of traditional brick-and-mortar retailers shutting their doors. Just after Pier 1 announced plans to close nearly half its stores, Macy’s said that it will be closing at least 28 stores in the coming months, including the location in Meriden at the Westfield Meriden Mall.
