ID Released For Stamford Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Webster Bank Arena
The man who was killed after his car crashed into the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Thanksgiving Day has been identified as a Stamford man. The man was driving south on Main Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22 before losing control of his vehicle, a Honda Accord, and colliding into the front of the building. Investigators say he was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Wagner Mendez of Stamford, according to WTNH. Man Killed After Crash Seriously Damages Webster Bank Arena
A driver has died after crashing into the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Thanksgiving Day, police say. The victim, a man in his mid-20s whose identity has not officially been released, was driving south on Main Street at approximately 2:10 p.m. before losing control of his vehicle, a Honda Accord, and collided into the front of the building. The man was pulled from the vehicle and taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
