Motorist Driving Damaged Car Charged In Connection To Hit-Run Crash, Greenwich Police Say A 25-year-old area man was busted for hitting two parked vehicles and them fleeing the scene. Nicolas Corzo-Araoz, of Riverside, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, after Greenwich Police officers were dispatched to Westcott Street on a report of a car that Corzo-Araoz was driving had left the scene of the crash, said Greenwich Police Lt. Robert Lombardo. Police were about to find Corzo-Araoz at his home where he was seen by officers driving the vehicle which had heavy front end damage, Lombardo said. Suspect In Hit-Run Crash In Greenwich Tracked Down In Westchester The suspect of a Greenwich hit-and-run crash was tracked down in Westchester, authorities say. The hit-and-run crash was reported to Greenwich Police Department Saturday, Jan. 26 around 11 p.m. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle crashed into three unoccupied parked vehicles in the area of Byram before fleeing the scene. The vehicle was tracked and located in Port Chester. The registered owner was contacted over the phone, however, they stated they were not operating the vehicle at the time of the incident.
