Trumbull Typifies Fairfield County Office Market High Vacancy Rate Across Fairfield County, the office market continues to suffer from high vacancy rates, according to this report in the New Haven Register.   Trumbull is suffering the most of any community in the county, according to a 2017 office space market analysis by Cushman & Wakefield, with a 44 percent vacancy rate -- the highest in the region. Be A Kung Flu Fighter, Get A Shot As the flu continues to spread like a wildfire across Fairfield County and the state, the Fairfield Health Department is participating in a statewide flu vaccination day on Saturday to encourage all Fairfield residents to get a flu shot and be a Kung Flu Fighter.  To help stop the flu, health officials said the single best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is to get vaccinated.
