29-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Merritt Parkway In Stamford State Police are searching for witnesses to a fiery crash that killed a 29-year-old Fairfield County man in a three-car collision on the Merritt Parkway. The crash took place in Stamford around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 on the northbound side, Connecticut State Police said. Darien Police received a report that a 2014 Subaru Forester and a 2012 Toyota Highlander were stolen from the driveway of a home on Archer Lane during the overnight hours of Thursday, Nov. 14. The Forester contained a set of golf clubs valued at $3,000, $20 in cash, sunglasses valued at $100, paddleball equipment valued at $300 and an EZ Pass transponder valued at $50, police say.
